Product Details
The Herb House is designed to stand on a small patio or even a balcony. At just 2′ 8″ (0.8 m) long, its compact design makes it ideal for even the smallest urban or city garden.
- Perfect for cooking: Designed for the keen cook - there’s nothing better than picking fresh herbs while cooking.
- Smart ventilation: Uses convection ventilation - cooler air is drawn in through the slatted base and warm air exits through the top louvres. It activates automatically when warmed by the sun.
- Winter-ready: Optional winter plate covers the slats to prevent drafts during cold weather.
- Easy access: Sliding doors allow for simple access and adjustable ventilation - from a small gap in early spring to fully open in summer.
- Summer-friendly roof: Roof panels slide open to provide excellent ventilation in warm months.
- High-quality build: Aluminium frame with a 25-year guarantee and stainless steel fixings - designed to last a lifetime. Ground fixings are included.
- Glass panels: 4mm toughened safety glass offers excellent light transmission, traps spring heat better than plastic, and won’t go milky with age. The glass won’t flex under snow or strong winds.
- Flexible shelving: Comes with a wide seed tray shelf that can be adjusted in height, removed, or folded down in summer. Slim aluminium bars reduce the shading of plants below.
- Optional mist watering system: Fine nozzles suitable for delicate seedlings. Connects to a hose with a standard fitting, and can be paired with a tap timer for automated watering during holidays.
- Assembly: Supplied flat-pack for self-assembly with clear instructions.
Dimensions:
